We took a boat ride to Islesford Island. On the way we passed a lighthouse that is only 30' tall, but sits on a cliff that adds another 40' of height. The seals and birds hang out on a ledge in the bay. We then landed on the island and walked to the community hall and ate our lunch on picnic tables there. They have a winter population of 70 people. There is a community hall where they have weekly meals to maintain the sense of community.

We were able to get a permit to take the road to the top of Cadillac Mountain. It was a foggy day and we watched as the fog moved across the hills below us.
