Leaving home

March 31 we pulled out of our driveway for the last time. We sold the house, emptied out the furniture and had our belongings with us in our Winnebago Adventurer. What a free feeling as we drove away. We went to the Dakotah Meadows campground at Mystic Lake Casino. It was a little early in the season in Minnesota so the water was not yet turned on. We stayed until the end of April. Once the water was on, about mid month we could try the washing machine that we have on board - it worked great. We were also able to figure out the various systems in this new motor coach(MC).
We invited friends and family to stop by and see our new rolling home. We did realize that it is best to entertain a few people at a time - especially when it snows! Next Kevin took the MC and headed to Hinckley, MN. He travelled to many state parks and hiked at Jay Cooke, Gooseberry Falls, Interstate, Banning and Saint Croix State parks. I was in Luck, WI at my sister Meg's house. Chelley picked me up and we went to her land in Tower, MN. It was a delightful Mother's Day wknd. Kevin moved the MC to La Crosse, WI as we still had a few commitments in the Twin Cities.

Loved my 30' class C but you have clearly out "classed"me. Gas or Diesel? Enjoy yourselves! What is your goal: All 48? I envy your freedom.
