Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

We were again staying in Sandusky OH because Kev got season passes to Cedar Point Amusement Park. I looked up the HoF and we got tickets for 10 am when it opened. The reviews said people spend 1 1/2 to 2 hours on a visit. We got there at 10:30 since we took the scenic drive along my the water.

Wow! What a treasure! The opening display was a tribute to SNL 50 years of music history. There are videos, pictures and memorabilia.

Well, we spent the entire day there until they kicked us out at 5 pm. Even then we had to go through some of the exhibits really fast!

I thought the outfits would be fun for Kaya and Eliot to see. Such amazing styles and creativity!

When we were at the Beatles exhibit, they have a video for each album that they released, Kev went online to see about getting tickets to Paul McCartney’s concert. We looked at which ones lined up with where we will be and managed to get tickets for DesMoines, IA in Oct.

They have a garage band area where you can try a variety of instruments. We skipped that area. Wee are not the musical ones in the family.

They are adding onto their space and that will open fall of 26.

If you are looking for a destination or are in the area, I strongly recommend spending a day or two at this museum.

Nearby was a women in space museum which I didn’t know about at the time, there is also a NASA facility there as well. All of this is on the waterfront.
